This is my why

Photography for me isn't just a business, but a blessing. A blessing from Jesus, who has given me more than I could have dreamt and imagined. Little ten year old me couldn't even have imagined what I have done today and all the credit goes to my Lord & Saviour. Jesus has given me such a beautiful gift that I get to share with the world and use for His glory. At the end of the day for me, it isn't about the money I earn or the amount of weddings I photograph per year, but the opportunity I have to share the joy & love Jesus has given me with others.

hey hey! I am SO glad that you are here. Welcome to my little corner of the internet, where I tell stories with photos, freeze precious moments, and share what I am passionate about (AKA taking photos of the in love and the girl boss brands).

Ever since I was young, I have always loved being creative (just ask me about my party planning business stage when I was just 9 years old). I picked up a camera at the beginning of high school during a photography elective class. Little did I know, this class would lead me to fall in love with capturing all of the precious moments in life & to pursue my dream job. I started my business when I was 16 years old and almost four years later, the rest is history...

Photography to me is much more than just taking photos, but it is about capturing YOUR story. A story that is unique and special to only you. Whether I am capturing your brand story or your love story, I believe all stories are important and worth sharing.

In order to capture your story well, I focus on getting to know who you are. I love coffee and chai lattes, so let me take you out for coffee and get to know your story more.

I also focus on prompts over poses (aka no prom poses here). I want to draw out your most authentic self, so that you can be true to who you are in front of the camera.

I am so grateful to live so close to the rocky mountains and one of my favourite adventures is road tripping to the mountains to explore. It will forever be one of my favourite places to take photos.

I love community and surrounding myself with like-minded people who share my values. A place I love and call home is the bible study I am apart of every Thursday night. Some of the best nights have been in that room with those people.

Quality time is definitely one of my love languages. I am a people person through and through. I love spending time with my parents & four sisters, my fiance, and my friends. When I am around my people, it fills me up and brings me so much joy.

If you want to know, the top 10 cafes in Calgary, you have come to the right place and I am your girl. I love finding new cute and cozy spots in yyc and trying new drinks. Coffee shops are definitely one the places I am most motivated to get work done.

Some of my favourite things consist of sunsets, dancing my heart out, and jamming out to my favourite songs. If you were to spend 24 hours with me, you would probably see me dance around my house at least a few times. I was a competitive dancer when I was younger, so needless to say, dancing is in my bones.
